Jeroen de Rijk is a percussionist based in Amsterdam, Holland. Featured in the instructional video Percussion Today, Jeroen also conducts European percussion clinics for Latin Percussion since 1988.

In 1998 Jeroen started Baileo Music Productions BV together with his long time friend and master vibraphone player, Frits Landsbergen. Together they run a record label, booking agency and music production facility besides the busy life of an all around freelancer. On this label Jeroen released a second CD under his own name: 'Two To Tango', 16 duets between percussion and various other instruments.
Jeroen grew up listening to jazz and rock and began playing drums and percussion at age 16. His influences include Earth, Wind & Fire, Weather Report, Miles Davis, Steely Dan, The Beatles, Al Jarreau, Paulinho da Costa, Bobby Thomas, Alex Acuña, Don Alias, Lenny Castro, and Ralph MacDonald.
Agogo bells were Jeroen's introduction to LP
gear.
He has since used a wide variety of instruments and
says, "I feel confident with the quality and
durability of LP
instruments. They are always ready
for my ideas and everything looks great - that alone
makes you want to play them!"
